City Owl Press today announced an exciting expansion of the company with its new imprint, Mystic Owl. This line is designed to bring the readers pulse-pounding, steamy romance within the world of speculative fiction.
Mystic Owl will be headed by the City Owl Press Senior Editor, Heather McCorkle. “This news means wonderful things are coming as our flock expands into new territory, bringing something cherished and anticipated back to romance readers,” she said. “While I will still be acquiring to some extent for the main line, my primary focus will be on building the list of Mystic Owl to scintillate and delight lovers of the fantasy/sci-fi subgenres of romance.”
The new imprint will include both debut and established authors. Each book in the Mystic Owl line will benefit from the same dedicated creative and marketing teams. This includes professional editing, copy editing, cover design, advertising, and promotional efforts. The focus will be on digital distribution, with print-on-demand available.
