City Owl Press today announced a partnership agreement with IPR License, a global platform designed to facilitate the sale of permissions and rights online. The current partnership agreement focuses on foreign rights.
Based in the United Kingdom, IPR License “hosts their members’ rights online and has a large international subscriber base of rights buyers,” according to their company information. The parent company of IPR License is Frankfurter Buchmesse GmbH in Germany. Their member catalog boasts a large list of fiction and non-fiction publishers, including Shanghai Century Publishing Group, Singapore Book Publishers Association and Cambridge University Press.
“At this time, we feel that our partnership with IPR will help advance City Owl Press forward and aid the company into acquiring the areas of foreign publishing with our current and future titles,” said City Owl Press CMO Yelena Casale.
“More than ever, we are committed to providing the best opportunities for our authors in order to help them grow their careers and to promote their professional and creative goals. We feel IPR License can help us do just that with success,” said City Owl Press COO, Tina Moss. “We look forward to introducing the foreign markets to our high-quality fiction titles.”
