OFFICIAL RULES

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

1. SPONSOR

The Gilded Wing Referral Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) is sponsored by City Owl LLC (“Sponsor”), 14 Crabtree Lane, Staten Island, NY 10309.

This Sweepstakes is sponsored and administered solely by City Owl LLC. It is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Kickstarter, Inc, Royal Caribbean Group, or any third-party. Kickstarter / Royal Caribbean Group, is not responsible for the administration of the Sweepstakes, selection of winners, awarding or fulfillment of prizes, or any other aspect of the Sweepstakes.

2. ELIGIBILITY

The Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and District of Columbia who are at least eighteen (18) years of age and have reached the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence at the time of entry.

Employees, officers, directors, contractors, agents, and representatives of Sponsor, as well as members of their immediate families and households, are not eligible to enter.

Void where prohibited or restricted by law.

3. SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD

The Sweepstakes begins at 10:30am Eastern Time on August 28, 2026 and ends at 11:59pm Eastern Time on September 11, 2026 (“Sweepstakes Period”).

Sponsor’s computer is the official timekeeping device for the Sweepstakes.

Entries received before or after the Sweepstakes Period will not be eligible.

4. HOW TO ENTER

There are two methods of entry. No purchase, payment, or Kickstarter pledge is necessary to enter or win.

METHOD 1: REFERRAL ENTRIES

Eligible participants may register for the Gilded Wing Referral Sweepstakes at https://cityowlpress.com/pages/gilded-wing-sweepstakes.

After registration, Sponsor will provide the participant with a unique referral link.

During the Sweepstakes Period, each qualifying new Gilded Wing Kickstarter backer attributed to the participant’s unique referral link will provide the participant with one (1) Sweepstakes entry, subject to the maximum entry limit stated below.

A qualifying referral must:

1. Be a new, bona fide Gilded Wing Kickstarter backer;
2. Access the Gilded Wing Kickstarter campaign through the participant’s assigned referral link;
3. Complete a qualifying pledge during the Sweepstakes Period; and
4. Maintain a valid qualifying pledge through 11:59pm EASTERN TIME at September 11, 2026.

Canceled, declined, fraudulent, invalid, refunded, or otherwise unsuccessful pledges will not constitute qualifying referrals.

Participants may not refer themselves. Duplicate accounts, fictitious identities, automated referrals, bots, scripts, fraudulent transactions, or other attempts to manipulate referral tracking are prohibited.

Each distinct qualifying referred backer may generate only one (1) entry for the referring participant.

METHOD 2: FREE ALTERNATIVE METHOD OF ENTRY

NO PURCHASE OR KICKSTARTER PLEDGE IS REQUIRED.

Eligible participants may enter without backing the Kickstarter, making a purchase, or referring a purchaser by visiting https://forms.gle/wocEoQWUUjrUi1Zp7 and completing the free entry form during the Sweepstakes Period.

The free entry form will require the entrant to provide the information necessary to administer the Sweepstakes, including the entrant’s full name, email address, state of residence, and confirmation of age eligibility.

An eligible entrant may submit one (1) free entry per calendar day during the Sweepstakes Period until the entrant reaches the maximum of ten (10) entries.

No purchase, payment, Kickstarter pledge, referral, or other financial consideration is required to obtain entries through this method.

5. ENTRY LIMIT

Each eligible person may receive a maximum of thirty (30) total entries during the Sweepstakes Period, regardless of the method or combination of methods used to enter.

For example:

• One qualifying referral = one entry
• Five qualifying referrals = five entries
• Ten qualifying referrals = ten entries
• One eligible free entry submitted on each of ten eligible days = ten entries

An entrant who has earned fewer than ten entries through referrals may also use the free entry method, provided the entrant does not exceed ten total entries.

A purchase, Kickstarter pledge, or amount pledged will not increase the maximum number of entries available to an entrant.

Any attempt to exceed the maximum number of entries through multiple identities, email addresses, accounts, referral links, automated methods, or other means may result in disqualification.

6. PRIZES

Two (2) prizes will be awarded.

PRIZE #1: COMPLETE GILDED WING COLLECTION

One (1) winner will receive the complete inaugural Gilded Wing collection consisting of:

• Signature Edition: Kingdom of the Owl
• Signature Edition: Captured by the Vampire Knight
• Signature Edition: Labyrinthine
• Signature Edition: A Voice of Wrath
• Signature Edition: Claimed by Darkness

Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): $325

PRIZE #2: GILDED WING CRUISE PRIZE

One (1) winner will receive one Ocean View Stateroom cruise cabin for 2 passenger(s) aboard Ovation of the Seas.

Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): $1120

The Cruise Prize includes:

• CRUISE CABIN ACCOMMODATIONS
• GILDED WING CONFERENCE FEE

Unless expressly identified above as included in the Cruise Prize, the winner is solely responsible for all expenses associated with acceptance and use of the prize, including, without limitation, airfare, transportation to and from the departure port, parking, passports, visas, travel documentation, travel insurance, gratuities, shore excursions, specialty dining, alcoholic beverages, internet packages, personal expenses, taxes, and any other expense not expressly stated as included.

The winner and any permitted travel companion are responsible for obtaining and maintaining all passports, identification, visas, and other travel documentation required by the cruise line and applicable governmental authorities.

The Cruise Prize is subject to the applicable cruise line’s terms and conditions, availability, passenger requirements, itinerary changes, cancellations, and other applicable restrictions.

The total Approximate Retail Value of all prizes is $1445.

No cash equivalent will be provided. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if an advertised prize becomes unavailable for reasons outside Sponsor’s reasonable control.

Prizes may not be transferred, assigned, or sold except with Sponsor’s written approval.

7. WINNER SELECTION

Following the conclusion of the Sweepstakes Period and verification of eligible entries, Sponsor will conduct random drawings from all eligible entries received.

One (1) potential winner will be randomly selected for the Complete Gilded Wing Collection.

One (1) potential winner will be randomly selected for the Gilded Wing Cruise Prize.

The drawings will take place on or about September 15, 2026.

An entrant may win only one (1) prize.

If the same entrant is initially selected for both prizes, that entrant will receive the Gilded Wing Cruise Prize, and Sponsor will conduct another random drawing from the remaining eligible entries to select a winner for the Complete Gilded Wing Collection.

8. ODDS OF WINNING

Odds of winning depend upon the total number of eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period.

Backing the Gilded Wing Kickstarter, making a purchase, or pledging at any particular Kickstarter reward level does not increase the maximum number of entries available to an entrant.

Eligible entrants may obtain the same maximum number of entries without making a purchase or Kickstarter pledge.

9. WINNER NOTIFICATION AND VERIFICATION

Potential winners will be notified using the email address provided in connection with their Sweepstakes entry.

A potential winner must respond within five (5) calendar days after notification.

Potential winners may be required to provide proof of eligibility and complete and return an affidavit or declaration of eligibility, liability/publicity release where legally permissible, applicable tax documentation, and any other documentation reasonably necessary for Sponsor to verify eligibility and award the applicable prize.

If a potential winner cannot be contacted, fails to respond within the required time, is found to be ineligible, declines the prize, fails to provide required documentation, or otherwise fails to comply with these Official Rules, the potential winner may be disqualified and an alternate winner may be selected by random drawing.

10. TAXES

All federal, state, and local taxes associated with the acceptance or use of a prize are solely the responsibility of the winner.

Sponsor will issue any tax forms required by applicable law.

Winners should consult their own tax advisors regarding any tax consequences associated with accepting a prize.

11. PUBLICITY

Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for Sponsor to use the winner’s name, city and state, photograph, likeness, and statements relating to the Sweepstakes for reasonable promotional purposes without additional compensation.

12. REFERRAL TRACKING

Sponsor intends to use unique referral URLs and available referral-tracking technology to determine qualifying referral entries.

A qualifying referral must be properly attributed to the participant’s assigned referral URL in Sponsor’s records.

In the event of a discrepancy between an entrant’s records and Sponsor’s referral records, Sponsor’s records will control, subject to correction of demonstrable errors.

Technical failures, altered or incomplete referral URLs, blocked tracking technologies, platform outages, or other circumstances may interfere with referral attribution. Participants are responsible for sharing their complete assigned referral URL.

Sponsor is not responsible for referrals that cannot reasonably be attributed to the participant’s assigned referral URL.

13. PROHIBITED CONDUCT

Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who Sponsor reasonably determines has:

• Manipulated or attempted to manipulate the entry or referral process;
• Created fraudulent, fake, or duplicate accounts;
• Used bots, scripts, automation, or fictitious identities;
• Engaged in self-referrals;
• Submitted false or misleading information;
• Attempted to obtain entries through fraudulent, canceled, or invalid pledges;
• Interfered with the proper administration of the Sweepstakes;
• Harassed Sponsor personnel or other participants; or
• Otherwise violated these Official Rules.

14. PRIVACY

Personal information collected in connection with the Sweepstakes will be used for purposes reasonably necessary to administer the Sweepstakes, including recording entries, tracking referrals, verifying eligibility, contacting potential winners, awarding prizes, preventing fraud, and complying with applicable legal requirements.

Entering the Sweepstakes does not automatically subscribe an entrant to City Owl Press or Gilded Wing marketing communications.

Entrants may separately and voluntarily elect to receive marketing emails from City Owl Press or Gilded Wing through an optional consent mechanism.

15. RELEASE AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, by participating in the Sweepstakes, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and representatives from claims arising out of participation in the Sweepstakes or acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of a prize, except to the extent such liability cannot legally be waived.

Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, misdirected, corrupted, or technically defective entries or referral data; internet, website, platform, or email failures; referral-tracking failures; or other circumstances beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control.

16. MODIFICATION, SUSPENSION, OR CANCELLATION

Subject to applicable law, Sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Sweepstakes if fraud, technical failure, platform failure, force majeure, or another circumstance beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control materially affects the integrity or proper administration of the Sweepstakes.

If the Sweepstakes is terminated before the scheduled end of the Sweepstakes Period, Sponsor may select the winners from eligible entries received before termination where lawful and appropriate.

17. GOVERNING LAW

These Official Rules and the Sweepstakes shall be governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except to the extent another jurisdiction’s mandatory laws apply.

Any legal proceeding arising out of or relating to the Sweepstakes shall be brought in Richmond, New York, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

19. AGREEMENT TO OFFICIAL RULES

By participating in the Sweepstakes, entrants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Official Rules and Sponsor’s decisions regarding administration of the Sweepstakes, subject to applicable law.

20. THIRD-PARTY DISCLAIMER

This Sweepstakes is sponsored and administered solely by City Owl LLC. It is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Kickstarter, Inc, Royal Caribbean Group, or any third-party. Kickstarter, Inc, Royal Caribbean Group, and any third-party have no responsibility or liability for the Sweepstakes, its administration, winner selection, prizes, or prize fulfillment.
