February 16, 2026 — City Owl Press is pleased to announce the return of Heather McCorkle to the publishing house in the role of Editor-at-Large. McCorkle previously served as Senior Editor at City Owl Press, where she played a key role in shaping the press’s editorial vision and mentoring authors across multiple genres.
In her new position, McCorkle will work closely with City Owl Press’s editorial team, providing high-level editorial guidance, developmental support, and strategic insight across select projects. The Editor-at-Large role allows her to contribute her expertise flexibly while continuing her work as an author and industry professional.
