June 21, 2024 – City Owl Press is pleased to announce the signing of award-winning playwright Carol Wolf in a two-book deal for Realm of Night and Savage Island, represented by Laurie McLean at Fuse Literary. Carol brings a fresh and exciting voice to the romantasy genre, while dipping her toes into the darker realm with her horror novel.
“I am so excited to be working with Carol. She has a history as a playwright and writing for film, which gives her fiction a character-driven feel. I am forward to bringing her stories to a new readership,” said acquisition editor, Danielle DeVor.
Carol Wolf has written fantasy novels, plays for the stage, screenplays for movies, and the scripts for video games. Her play The Thousandth Night won numerous awards, including the LA Drama Critics Circle Award. She lives in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada, in California.
